Acrylic Painting Workshop

Join me for a 3.5 hour, intimate, acrylic painting workshop in Eugene, Oregon! Limited to six students, we will work from photo reference and utilize a simplified step by step process exploring the versatility and advantages of acrylic paint. Students will learn techniques for emphasizing color and form. Layering techniques, washes, color, and expression will be emphasized.

When: Sunday, July 20th, 12-3:30pm

Where: Moon Maiden Tattoo, 275 W 8th ave, Eugene, OR

Students will need to bring their own supplies as listed:

  • a surface to paint on: a canvas, gessoed panel, heavy watercolor paper.

  • Acrylic paints: I’d recommend having a minimum of 5 colors and black and white.

  • A variety of brushes including one LARGE brush (.5 or 1 inch)

  • Photo reference to paint from. Feel free to print or use a tablet / phone.
